The Dungeon Saga - Chapter 7
What a gift! It was 2013, when on my birthday, I tried an Escape room in another country. We did not try such an activity yet, nor were there too many opportunities to spend our free time.
Being a new graduate, I had to choose a new path in my life or continue in engineering. I didn't like the hours spent in a factory, so I chose something new. I started with a lot of emotion, without experience, but with a lot of enthusiasm, crazy ideas and passion for Escape room games. So I decided to embark on a life-changing adventure. This is how the first Escape room in Cluj-Napoca appeared.
We started with a small space in the basement of a historic building in the center of Cluj. I arranged it in the style of the '20s, the last century. Flashing lights, mechanical puzzles, mysterious clues and music heard from a gramophone. That's how I surprised the first curious "prisoners" in the laboratory of the Mad Scientist.
Misiunea era să promovez noul concept de Escape room si să-i fac și pe alții să se îndrăgostească de el. Pot spune că am reușit, deoarece între timp, am creat peste 5 jocuri in locațiile noastre. În timp, tot mai mulți entuziaști au îmbrățișat jocurile de Escape room.
Povestea continuă, la fel și misiunea noastră. Într-o lume impredictibilă, ne adaptăm, creștem și venim cu noi modalități de a te bucura de Escape rooms și jocuri. Ne dorim să îți oferim in continuare experiențe care să îți cultive atenția la detalii și creativitatea. Tu ești eroul într-o poveste atent creată pentru tine și cei dragi.
Inițiativa a venit din dorința de a oferi publicului clujean, o altfel de experiență. Ceva ce nu au mai încercat niciodată. Am întâmpinat la început multe dificultăți – de la a găsi o locație potrivită până la a face conceptul propriu-zis. Primul joc real de room escape din Cluj-Napoca, consider că a adus și un plus de valoare orașului. Prin acesta, oferim o modalitate inedită de petrecere a timpului liber.

This year, 2020, we are writing together with the community The Dungeon Cluj, chapter 7 of our story.
Au fost 7 ani plini de aventură, oameni frumoși și experiențe memorabile. Am început cu mult entuziasm, dorință de a împărtăși cu voi pasiunea noastră pentru escape rooms. Dar și puzzle-uri și timp de calitate petrecut împreună cu prietenii. De-a lungul timpului, v-am ”torturat” cu 5 scenarii de escape room, construite în 3 locații diferite. V-am închis în pivnițe și am privit cu sufletul la gură fiecare mișcare, de pe camerele de supraveghere.
Ca și voi, ne-am poticnit pe drum și am cerut indicii de la cei mai pricepuți. Dar de fiecare dată am continuat cursa, pentru că miza cea mai mare nu a fost să evadăm. Ci să ne bucurăm în continuare de uimirea și bucuria de pe fețele voastre.

Now he has matured and is already going to school. All this would not have been possible without you, the approximately 50,000 escapologists who tried our games.
Abia așteptăm să vedem ce ne vor aduce următorii 7 ani, însă ne dorim să creștem în continuare. Și să vă oferim experiențe care să vă încânte mintea și simțurile.

My husband and I really enjoyed this escape room - we did "The Experiment". The atmosphere was suitably creepy - I especially loved the sound effects and all the little details around the room. The puzzles were tough but fair, and there was definitely a little "rush" when we figured them out! The host was very kind and helpful, and overall the experience was really nice.

I went with few of my friends here, at all games. The games are not too complicated, not too easy. They are just right. The stories are good, too.
